The Elm Burr snare drum feature a beautiful Elm burr outer veneer and birch core amounting to 16 ply (9mm) shell thickness in total. 

Combined with attractive Elm burr grain character, quality hardware such as George Way throw, Puresound wires and Liberty Drums Lugs with Iconic badge results in a stunning and exotic looking drum. The sound that this snare drum produces is deep and punchy with plenty scope to reach a high-tension tonal range.

16 ply shell construction consisting of 1ply Elm Burr outer & 15 ply Birch core resulting in a 9mm thick shell. Each ply is applied by hand into our cold moulding system in a cross laminated formation.

Each of the Liberty Drum snare drums are hand made ply by ply, lovingly handcrafted shells with the highest degree of workmanship and detail. Liberty Drums hand craft their own drum shells which means they make their Liberty snares exactly how you need them.
